Since the Himaya Foundation began its work, hundreds of complaints have been made regarding abuse against women and children, ranging from allegations of family disputes to allegations of violence and neglect against children, as well as cases of verbal and physical abuse

Other than complaints about physical assault directed at women, the majority of complaints received by the institution revolved around the issue of spending and the husbands’ failure to spend on their families after divorce. In spite of the final court ruling, the fathers did not realize how much responsibility they were shouldering, causing a great deal of psychological pressure on the single mother of the family who felt helpless in the face of her children’s demands
